Some call them companions. Some call them family. Others call them heroes. Animals serve, nurture, rehabilitate, and love us; it is our human duty to make their world as healthy and happy as they make ours.
Unfortunately, we overlook those cats and dogs who aren't on our lap or at our doorstep when we get home at night. There are millions of cats and dogs euthanized every year – hundreds locally because there aren't enough homes. The root of this problem is simple; overpopulation. One unspayed feral (wild) or barn cat can start producing kittens at the age of one. One to two litters per year, and that one little kitty that you fed behind your garage has the potential to become 10, 20, 30, or even 50 cats.
Through education, kindness, and proactiveness, 1 Cat Inc. hopes to change those true and very painful statistics, one cat at a time.
Many thanks to all of the people who have volunteered for 1 Cat Inc., supported us, and saved lives by bringing their cats to be spayed and neutered. We spayed/neutered 313 pets in 2015 and will exceed that in 2016!
